In honor of the chance to speak at Gnomedex, and even though there are still some rough edges, Noonhat is now serving the whole continent!
Happy lunching!

Is there an easier way to move the circle halfway across the continent without dragging? I’d love to be able to type in a string (”chicago il”) or number (”60604″) and have it jump to that location.

Yes, this needs to be fixed. I’ll try to get it added within the next few days. In the mean time, the only thing to do is zoom out, move and zoom back in.

It’d be nice if you could choose the sex of the person you want to be matched up with, so it doesn’t end up being a date… some married people may not like that. :)

There is no way to do choose the gender of your partners. (or, actually anything else about them) I think this would be a difficult feature to implement, because many, many people would want to choose opposites and it could turn
the site into a dating site, which I definitely want to avoid.
There are two things which might help married people feel more
comfortable. I try to setup matches of 3-4 people at a time (although some pairs do happen). Also, it is always OK to bring a friend with you to lunch, so you can be sure that it will be at least three people, and not a one-on-one date.

I work second shift. When I check if I have a luncheon scheduled it’s usually too late to get ready for it.
Is there a way to get my luncheon schedule like the day before? So I’ll know more notice?

My last line correction…”So I’ll have more notice”?
